Planet Calypso is a Sci-fi MMO with a Real-Cash economy. Planet Calypso is the largest and most active world inside Entropia Universe.
First you arrive on Calypso as a colonist. The rebuilding of the planet after the robot wars is at hand. Your role is to help create a solid foundation for the human civilization.
You can explore the wilderness, outposts and cities. Hunt animals, mine for resources or fight the Robot enemy. You can even battle other colonists in Player versus Player (PvP) combat.
You can also develop professions such as crafting, tailoring, beauty, piloting, event management, and many more.
You can build communities, share special moments. Maybe even find love...

As a new arrival on Planet Calypso, you will meet a helpful and friendly community in societies, forums and chat channels.
The community also develops and runs tools that are useful in your life as a colonist, such as: http://entropiawiki.com/ with extensive information about every item, creature, skill, location, avatar or society, and Entropia Life with useful tools for analyzing your activities.
– The History of Planet Calypso –
When the first colonists arrived on Calypso, everything was prepared for their arrival by robots that had built up a complete infrastructure. Upon arrival of the colonists, the Robot Base Matrix turned over control to the humans.
The first settlers on Calypso experienced a historical moment as they set foot on this vast and unspoiled planet, rich in life and resources. Mankind seemed to have returned to paradise and this first region of colonies became known as New Eden.
But this would all soon change...
